In a remarkable achievement within a short timeframe, we are deeply grateful to announce another significant milestone. Exergy Enviro Group has been selected from a pool of applicants and has secured a position among final 20 startup to be part of the DSTI EPF Tech Fund Venture Programme. The programme is a collaboration of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation, and the Empire Partner Foundation.

"This milestone further strengthens our business model, where strategic partnerships are key to the advancement of our enterprise growth. It is the driving force towards bridging the divide between access to enabling resources and scaling for sustainability".

For the longest of time, startup companies and business support initiatives couldn't find each other in critical areas where the former relied on the established resources and networks of the latter, and how startups can be seamlessly integrated into the ecosystem of the enterprise/supplier development networks, and to leverage on the readily available structures. However, the handholding approach which sets to deploy resources, technology and funding where these are most needed, is what sets the programme apart.

What we are looking forward towards achieving through the programme is integrating the latest AI technology into our waste management business. We want to have the first mover's advantage in the industry, by adopting the latest technology to strengthen our value chain. Technology will be piloted and implemented in our newly renovated facility to provide security and employee monitoring, automating plant operations, managing our external interaction through digital strategies, integrating fleet management optimization and operator capabilities, while sending and receiving real-time data between Exergy Enviro Group's suppliers and customers.

We further aim to add value to the key pillars of the programme, in which we are aligned, and to accelerate the social transformation objectives of our founding existence. This would be the first of its kind in the Vaal-Triangle, where our operational facilities are located.
